Welcome to the Headwaters Amateur Radio Club. HARC is a full service amatuer radio club that offers the following:

Event Calendar

• Winter Field Day (International Event) – Saturday 09:00 am — Sunday 03:00 pm, January 24th – 25th, 2026:
  • Come join our club for Winter Field Day and a pot luck – all are welcome.
  • Bring your radio if you have one and come get on the air.
  • If you don’t have a radio, come anyway. Several will be set up to operate.
  • Location: 185 W. Cameron Bridge Rd, Bozeman, MT (near Kenyon Noble on Cameron Bridge Rd / Jackrabbit Ln – Belgrade – look for the ham radio towers)
  • Any questions or problems use 146.52 Mhz or 446.75MHz (100Hz)

  • Midweek Hams-n-Coffee at Mazevo Coffee – Thursdays 09:00 am – 11:00 am located at (Four Corners) 7715 Shedhorn Dr, Bozeman, MT 59715
  • Saturday Hams-n-Coffee at Cafe M – Saturdays 09:00am – Noon located 409 W Main St, Belgrade, MT 59714
• Monthly Club Meeting:
  • Join a Club Meeting at 07:00pm on the 3rd Monday of the each month (next meeting is Monday, January 19th, 2026 @ 07:00 pm) at the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce building 10 E Main St, Belgrade, MT 59714
• Weekly Club Net:
  • Join us on HARCMT Simplex Net – Wednesdays at 07:00pm on 147.57MHz
• Weekly Trivia Net:
  • Sundays at 07:30p – 08:30p – open to all licensed amateur radio operators and their guests.
  • Hosted on the Mt. Belmont Repeater, 20 miles west of Helena MT via 147.22MHz (+100Hz).
  • In the Bozeman area: access the Trivia Net via 446.75MHz (100Hz) a local crossband repeater.
  • Join the weekly fun in this interactive radio event where participants answer questions across various categories, often in teams, to test their knowledge in a fun and competitive setting.
• FCC Amateur Radio License Examinations:
  • FCC Amateur Radio License Examinations will be given on the Saturday preceding the Monthly Club Meeting each month
  • Next examination session at 10:00am Saturday, February 14, 2026.
  • Examinations will be held at the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce building 10 E Main St, Belgrade, MT 59714
